time to move...again

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.

We studied this passage from Ecclesiastes...in French! We had a week-long intensive French course on theology last week. Our tutor was great, a very knowledgeable, godly woman. We got to pray, give our testimony and learn vocabulary all in French.  And now...we are packing up again. Rog is hoping to leave on the 24th and get a head start as he will drive, I will fly with the kids on the 26th and that gives us 2 solid months in Edmonton. We have so much to do, it is hard not to feel overwhelmed...pack a container (with our stuff that will likely get to Niger 2 months after we arrive), sell our house, our car, speak at churches...and the hardest thing...say our goodbyes. But, there is a time for everything...

I will leave you with some pictures that were taken at my baby sister's wedding in Mexico! It was such a blessing to be there, to see my family (whom I hadn't seen in almost a year) and to just relax after having spent 9 months in language studies...if you want to see more pictures, you can head to my facebook page...I will hopefully update again...in Edmonton! Je suis tellement reconnaissante pour cette année à Québec...le Seigneur est miséricorideux et grâcieux...qu'il soit glorifié!

there were 109 guests at this wedding...pretty good for a destination wedding! Here are a few family members...thank you uncle Randy for letting us bury you!
Rog had the honor of being the officiant

we got a picture with the bride and groom...and a couple of nieces

a picture with my dad and 3 of his 5 girls and 6 of his 9 grandchildren
4 out of 5 sisters made it to the wedding. Guess the order of birth?! #4 sister couldn't make it because she had just had a baby (whom I wrote about last blog)

the flower girls

my sister Elly came with her 3 kids by herself (her husband had to work) but thankfully our mom and family were around to help her

Jaelyn and Nathan walking with their cousin Anna

these 3 three-year-olds were hilarious together...always up to something...
